HERALD ADDITIVE
Innovation made tangible
Herald Additive is a UK-based company in the heart of London, providing a prototype design and manufacturing service for the automotive, e-mobility and consumer manufacturing industries. We create our designs using 3D design software and use 3D printing technology to bring them to life.

Founder and design engineer Hugo Auer launched the business in 2023. Fascinated by the potential of this future technology, he decided to apply his experience in product design and manufacturing to help others realise their vision for new ideas and products. He believes there are almost endless applications and opportunities to apply this technology as well as assist with the betterment of humanity.

Case Studies
Here at Herald Additive, we have conducted various case studies which explore the applications of 3D printing technologies. Find out more from the links below!
In this day and age, it is common practice among some major consumer goods manufacturers to insist that their customers purchase a new product instead of offering to repair the one they [the customer] already have. This study explores this issue, with a cooker remote being the product in question.
3D printing in the past half-decade has become significantly more commercially available. This project assesses the viability of the use of structurally integral 3D printed components by testing varying print setups to produce a functional design for an electric skateboard deck.
Products from all industries receive updates and new versions. Be this to improve existing products, or introduce new entirely new ones. The older products become discontinued and replacement components become hard to find, which leads to these older products being discarded.
